Joy in Togetherness

It's been a busy week doing sessions for families facing an upcoming overseas military deployment.
These families inspire me. I love their optimism and enthusiasm and their ability to laugh and find joy in the face of adversity...all kinds of adversity.

It is clear that there is joy in togetherness and strength found in love-filled laughter.

  4. hey there. thanks for visiting picky and leaving it some love. i'm curious: if you picked up a book that had an opening scene such as the one you read the other day (which would end just as it ends in the post you read... chapter one would take place nearly ten years later), would you be more or less likely to continue reading it?

Thanks for stopping by and enjoying my new series of watercolors. They are quite different from what I had been doing. Do you think that the change is for the better?
